JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Beautician is expected to perform include:

• Providing various types of beauty treatments to clients

• Examining and procuring the materials needed

• Applying make-up such as grease paint, rouge, lipstick, face powder, wigs and beards

• Performing manicure, pedicure and facial care services

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 6, 5

• It requires physical activity

• Need not handle a team

• Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Working hours

• Working hours are for 5/6 days a week for 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from salon to salon

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 3

Preferably, 12th pass

• Knowledge of various beauty treatments

• Proficiency in examining the materials required

• Adept at applying make-up

• Proficiency in issuing instructions to the Hairdresser as to the style of hair dressing required

• Knowledge of how to use wigs and beards
